Your daily briefing and AI drafts

The Advisor lives at /admin/insights (click Advisor in the admin nav). It is a daily briefing over your whole business. Once a day it reads your quotes, contracts, invoices, payments, and client activity, then tells you the two or three things that need you, in plain English, with the numbers to back it up.

What it watches

Every recommendation comes from a concrete pattern in your data, and every card shows its evidence with dates:

  • Follow-ups: quotes sent but unanswered for a week, contracts waiting on your countersignature, invoices past due, regular clients who suddenly went quiet.
  • Opportunities: clients who keep buying work month after month and look like retainer material (with a suggested monthly amount based on what they already spend), and reliable monthly clients worth an annual arrangement.
  • Client patterns: who consistently pays late (and might warrant a deposit up front), who pushes back on most quotes, and whether too much of your revenue rides on one client.
  • Money habits: once a bank is connected in Codex, possible double charges and recurring costs worth a look.

The AI writes the headline and the narrative, but it never invents a number. Everything it says is computed first, then narrated.

Acting on a card

Each recommendation has Done, Snooze 7d, and Dismiss. Done and Dismiss put that item to rest for good; Snooze brings it back in a week. Acting on cards keeps the briefing short and yours.

Draft the email

Cards that call for a message (a quote nudge, a payment reminder, a retainer pitch, a check-in) have a Draft the email button. The AI writes it from the card's real numbers and your business name, and then it waits:

  1. You edit the subject and body however you like.
  2. Approve and send delivers it to the client from your business, exactly as written. The recommendation checks itself off.
  3. Or Save for later (it waits in a Drafts section on the page) or Discard.
Nothing sends itself

No draft ever reaches a client without you pressing Approve. The AI proposes; you decide.

When it refreshes

The briefing regenerates about once a day on its own, and you can force one anytime with Refresh. Generation uses the AI provider you configured under Settings, then AI & Agents; without one, the page still shows the computed recommendations with simpler wording.
