“Who owes me money?”
Every unpaid invoice across every client, oldest first, with what is genuinely past its due date separated from what is simply still out.

The Contractor Codex
One branded portal for quotes, contracts, and payments, with an assistant that already knows every client, every project, and every dollar you are owed. Ask it a question, or tell it to go do the thing.
Who owes me money?
Four clients, $18,240 outstanding.
Riverbend is the only one past due. Want me to send a reminder?
Your assistant
It reads your quotes, invoices, projects, and payments, and it can act on them. These are real questions with real answers, not a demo script.
“Who owes me money?”
Every unpaid invoice across every client, oldest first, with what is genuinely past its due date separated from what is simply still out.
“What is landing in the next two weeks?”
When the money you are already owed is expected to arrive, week by week, based on due dates and how each client has actually paid before.
“Draft a quote for the Riverbend migration.”
A ready-to-send quote built from your own line items and rates, priced and laid out, waiting for you to adjust anything before it goes.
“What did I actually make on that project?”
Real profit: what you collected minus what the work cost you, not just the invoice total.
“Record the $500 check from Keith.”
Books money you already have. Nothing is sent to the client, no card is charged, and it counts toward revenue and your profit and loss.
“How much should I set aside for taxes?”
A running estimate from your real numbers, so a quarterly payment never arrives as a surprise.
Emails to clients, invoices, charges, and contracts all stop for your approval, and you see exactly what is about to go out before it goes. The assistant can never do more than you could do yourself by clicking, and every action it takes is written to an audit log you can read.

Common Questions
It is a branded client portal with an AI assistant built into it. You send quotes, sign contracts, bill the work, and get paid, all under your own name and at one URL. The assistant sits on top of the same data and can answer questions about your money, draft a quote, chase a late invoice, or record a payment, instead of you clicking through screens to do it.
It can read anything in your portal and act on most of it. Ask who owes you money, what is landing in the next two weeks, what you really made on a project, or how much to set aside for taxes, and it answers from your live numbers. It can also draft a quote from a plain description, record a cash or check payment, and message a client. Anything that sends or bills stops for your approval first, and you see exactly what it is about to do before it happens.
No. There is no card entry form anywhere in the product. Every payment is taken on Stripe's own secure pages, so card numbers go from your client's browser to Stripe and never touch our servers. Bank connections run through Plaid, so we never see your bank login either. There is a full write-up on the security page.
Two plans, same full feature set. Standard is $15/month (or $150/year, which works out to $12.50/month) with a 0.8% service fee on Stripe transactions. Pro is $35/month (or $360/year, $30/month) with just a 0.1% service fee. Pro is built for established operators billing more than about $2,900/month, where the lower fee more than covers the higher subscription. Both include unlimited clients and projects.
It fits best for IT freelancers, consultants, and independent operators who quote work, sign an agreement, do the job, and bill for it, often with a monthly retainer or care plan running alongside. The same shape covers construction, legal, design, vet clinics, and most other service businesses, and the quote library ships with more than 240 starter line items across 25 industries.
Both. Pick deposit plus progress payments when you send the quote and the client pays the deposit on acceptance, then you bill any percentage as each stage completes, with the final invoice settling the balance. For recurring work, add a retainer or managed-service plan to the quote and the first month is collected the moment the client accepts, on the same invoice as the deposit, then it bills automatically every month after that.
Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial. You add a payment method when you pick a plan and nothing is charged until the trial ends. You do not need an existing Stripe account. When you create your organization we set one up so clients can pay by card or bank transfer and the money goes straight to your bank. If you already have Stripe, connect that instead.
